At Declan McCormack Vehicle Repairs we have embraced the complexities of the modern car with our state of the art diagnostic suite which includes Fault code readers, Fuel systems preasure test equipment, Oscilliscope, Sensor test equipment and 4 gas emissions evaluation. We have looked to the future with our choice of diagnostic equipment and can carry out serial data checks to most of the vehicles onboard controllers be it standard systems or complex can-bus systems with 1 of our 3 diagnostic platforms. For this type of work we have a UK specific system which covers 96% of the UK market from 1996 todate. We have a system which covers uk/Japanese/Asian and American vehicles which is regarded as the best in the world. We have Subaru manufacturer specific select monitor which covers both classic and new age Subaru. If the problem is not a simple fix after evaluating the ECU codes we then have a high end oscilliscope which we use to test and verify signal data information to and from the ECU. Once we have diagnosed a faulty component or circuit we use simulator equipment to simulate the necessary information the ECU should expect to see to confirm our diagnosis. This method has saved customers vast sums of money where other garages without the necessary equipment may have to purchase non-returnable sensors or actuators in an attempt to repair. Our equipment and expertise makes sure only the faulty component is replaced making sure our customers only pay whats necessary to first fix the problem. Its easier for us to drive to Wiltshire to have our diagnostic work carried out by a friendly garage who can fit us in quickly after 1 phone call then to drive into central London, and sit in traffic all day, especially when you are set up to deal with the type of vehicles we sell. Not many garages have the diagnostic software and cables for UK cars never mind Japanese or Asian 4x4s which we sell. You also have a very good cafe just up the road. Our drivers now look forward to the all day full english breakfast they serve.
